The rules of using Receptic — plain and fair.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Receptic AI, Inc. (“Receptic”) when you access or use the Receptic platform, dashboard, APIs, or any related service (collectively, the “Service”).

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” means that organization.

To use most features you must register an account, keep your contact and billing information accurate, and safeguard your credentials. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and not barred from receiving the Service under applicable law.

Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Voice and message minutes are deducted from a wallet balance at the per-unit price shown on your plan; overages auto-top-up unless you set a monthly cap in your dashboard.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel renewal anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Place outbound calls that violate TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or local equivalents.
• Impersonate any person or organization, including government agencies.
• Solicit, transmit, or store unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing content.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without written permission.
• Reverse-engineer or extract the underlying models or training data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

You are responsible for complying with consent and notification laws in every jurisdiction where you receive or place calls. Many jurisdictions (including parts of the US and EU) require both parties to be informed that a call is recorded.

Receptic provides configurable consent prompts and call-greeting templates to help you stay compliant, but final responsibility rests with you as the business operator.

Receptic and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including the platform, models, dashboard, and documentation. You retain ownership of the data you submit (“Customer Data”) and the agent configurations you build.

You grant Receptic a limited license to host, process, and display your Customer Data solely as needed to provide the Service.

The Service integrates with third-party providers (calendars, telephony, CRMs, payment processors, AI providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. Receptic is not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Receptic disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Receptic's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event will Receptic be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You may stop using the Service and cancel renewal at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, we will provide a reasonable period for you to export your Customer Data before deletion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, unless local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
